Before I left for my vacation I had a visit from my mom and dad who also took care of Sausau when J and I was away.
My mom wanted me to make something in bright colours for her so I made her the crochet chain in lovely orange, pink and a splash of off white and dark grey. Then a shrug in my favourite cotton yarn Safron out of 100% Egyptian cotton in cerise colour. I think all these bright colours looks gorgeous on her, and she was quite pleased and happy about her gifts.
Also right before my vacation I sold my 50th item! I achieved another goal! And while I was on vacation I sold my first item on Signerat, a swedish design site selling handmade not much unlike Etsy. This is all very exciting and I do have new ideas on crocheted items, but also knitted stuff. I'm knitting myself a very big cowl in wonderful thick saffron coloured wool and wrist gloves in pink and yellow. A lot of new and bright colours is quite necessary to make it through our very long and dark winters. I know I shouldn't think of that now as we still got some summer heat left. Just a little bit.
Anyway, a lot of new ideas, a lot of new gorgeous and soft yarn, new colours, new thoughts, and a go I'm quite amazed myself to have right now.
