A new chapter in life has begun

Ok...I shouldn't be so dramatic about it but I've fallen completely in love with screen printing, the whole handmade process and what it has given me in new opportunities to broaden my illustrated work 

and to take up my sewing again. 

This is my latest project I made one afternoon this past week. I've been meaning to do this forever and now I'm thinking, why didn't I do this sooner?

These 2 wonderful chairs had the most dreariest grey fabric before I made them over to 2 happy retro looking chairs. I'm very pleased and so are mr and miss Sau who likes to roll on her back with her head looking up side down at me when lying on one of the chairs.

As I mentioned before in a previous post I'm exhibiting some screen printed work here in Stockholm starting from this saturday. I'll try and take some good pics to post later.

Om ni är sugna på att se lite screenprintade verk så kom förbi på vernissage i Skarpnäcks kulturhus denna lördag! Jag kommer att ställa ut 2 verk på tyg och det kommer även att finnas en hel del mer konstverk från underbara konstnärer, dessutom bjuds det på lite kaffe och kaka!

Om ni inte lyckas ta er förbi på lördag så kommer det att pågå fram till den 14e december.
