Sewn+silk screen printed tote and skirt

You may have seen pictures from my screen printing workshop before but I've never really shown you any real results coming out from it. It's an ongoing process and I'm not a professional, yet anyway! so a lot of time is spent trying out different patterns, frames, colors, materials and so on. It's time consuming to say the least, but I'm still finding the whole process fun and so I'm keeping this up. But now finally I have something to show you!

Hand printed bird design on cotton tote and fabric which
became my first self-sewn skirt in years. It was fun making so I do hope I get the chance to sew some more in the future.

These pieces will be exhibited at a local culture and art house in november/december, more details coming soon, but I'm very excited about this!

Some pictures from the process:
Do you have any new projects going on? I would love to see them! Send me links!

Have a great weekend
/Carolina
