Winter Wonderland + New Cards

First real snow came yesterday and this is how incredible everything looked like covered under the snow.
It's cold but I don't mind, not when it looks like this outside! And everything lights up! Believe me, it's most necessary these winter months up north.

These pretty wood houses in my neighborhood looks even more pretty under a snow blanket.
Looks almost fairy tale like, don't you think?
My snow fox illustration is now available as cards.

And so is Papa Hedgehog!

This little illustration "Cat On Cushions" is one of my most popular print in shop and are now available as cards, colored ones!

Wishing you a great winter weekend!

Say hello to Papa Hedgehog!

First snow of the season is here and and it's getting colder and darker every day.
Even so, Papa Hedgehog enjoys his long walks in the snow and Mama Hedgehog has after all knitted him a scarf to keep warm.
Will be up in shop as print and cards.

Winter Wonderland

So little time, so much snow.

That's my winter sum up but it's ok I mean it's perfectly beautiful outside!

Sunday Morning Walk no2

With all this snow and cold weather I just had to make a sequel on my Sunday Morning Walk, so this is no 2.
A little bit more sunny, a little bit more cheerier. You can see the first original on my banner.

Sau has gotten a little bit more fatter these days so an early morning exercise on roller skates is just what she needs but not at all what she wants. She rather lay by the windowsill with her paws on the heat radiator.

Tree art exhibition no 2

This was from my "in the woods" exhibition I did 2 weeks ago. The red and blue illustration & crochet frames are new to the nest and the green one are now sold. I'm planning on listing some of them in the shops soon.

The wonderful green and yellow colors in the background is all gone now. We had or are having a snow storm outside now. It's so cosy with a snow storm when you're inside but a big pain when outside. Believe me. Buses get stuck in the snow and the subway gets delayed or cancelled....I'm home now but oh the headache when thinking of what's to come the next 4-5 months!

Det här var från min skogsutställning ca 2 veckor sedan. De röda och blåa illustrerade & virkade ramarna är de senaste i boet och den gröna är nu såld. Jag kommer att lägga upp de 2 första i mina butiker snart.

Thank you all for your sweet words and thoughts on my latest post!

Up against the cold

New cowl! I used a very thick wool yarn this time - new yarn for me, and I found it to be very comfortable to knit with. The result is very chunky and very warm, perfect for these winter days up north. Will be a regular in my jewel & accessories shop. Made as a special order for a lovely and very talented fellow etsian and customer. I'm getting some of her great things soon as well.
I'll show you all in time. Have yourself a wonderful weekend!

Ny tubhalsduk!

I'm in desperate need of some colors

Too much winter although I shouldn't complain  - it's damn beautiful out there with the snow. I've heard it hasn't snowed like this here since 1987. I always remember my childhood winters as being really white with snow up to my little waist and this fact proves I wasn't making it all up or even exaggerated!
Anyway...5-6 months of winter does something to you..No wonder we swedes talk about the weather all the time, ha! I need color! and I need to feel the warmth of the sun! I can't wait till spring gets here, so I made a pompom garland in gorgeous happy colors as a reminder to spring which may be here in late march if we're lucky.
Makes me happy, how about you?

Beautiful snowy and eerie trees

We are having the most amazing winter here right now. On these beautiful nights on my way home I've taken some pics with my iphone, so not the best quality. I kind of wish I had my real camera with me and I'm too lazy to go out now so this will do for now. But doesn't it look amazing, like the branches are all painted in white!
