I was commissioned to make a exclusive illustration for Kellogg's. There was also a limited number of 15 signed prints made for a event together with Swedish Red Cross. 

Ibland behöver vi "vuxna" bli påminda om den underbara fantasivärld som barn 

så enkelt målar upp i sitt inre. Det var min tanke och idé bakom illustrationen. 

Pet portraits SALE! LOVE!

I do love drawing someone's loved pet, either it be a dog, cat, hedgehog or the cutest little pig. All animals are wonderful to draw and the most fun is to bring out that special trait from their personality. Or have the pet be in a another place and space in the drawing. One thing I always wished for but never gotten the chance to do is to draw animals in people's clothing. 

I've been somewhat close, drawing cats in superhero capes and in roller-skates. 

During the rest of July I will draw your beloved pets with clothes, or without, in space, 

in the wild, as a lion. Just the way you want it. 

I'm reducing the price from $200 USD to $130 USD throughout the entire month in my Etsy shop.

Personalized Pet Portrait: Meet George & Piper!

I was thrilled when asked to make another custom drawing, this time of beautiful kittens George and Piper. 

Can't tell you how lucky I feel to get paid for drawing cats! I'm sincerely honored every time someone asks me if I can draw their pet for them. 

I'm home with a cold and all I feel like doing at this moment is to crawl beside those adorable soft swan babies and sleep sweet dreams...

New pattern, new bags

 I recently came up with an new pattern of stripes and triangles. It started as a paper cut by hand slightly different than the result but ended up more pleasing to the eye. I've now used this pattern for more coming work of new scarfs, pillow cushions and totes. Here are just a few of the bag prints I've done lately.

Custom Pet Portrait

My first try on a dog portrait, what do you think?

I was approached on Etsy by a lovely customer who wanted a portrait of Cinder as a necklace, like my illustration necklaces I have in shop already.

This was my first take on drawing a dog, although I've drawn lots of other animals before. Anyway what I was thinking of was perhaps offering to do custom pet portraits in my shops, is this something that you would be interested in?

A busy bee week

I've been away from my blogging here for more than a week, first time ever over these 5 years since I started this blog and I'm not even on a holiday!

I've been and are somewhat still over the top on different sorts of emotions because of big life changes and extremely lot of work. I'm definitely not complaining and are most happy how everything is turning out. 

I'm a happy gal right now! 

This is a summery of everything since last:

I stole some time from my illustration work to make a new scarf! Feels wonderful and light when wearing, and drapes really beautiful. Graceful wear for summer days!

Sidekick Ollie

Meet Ollie or Mr Puffy Pants/Señor Dulce Pantalones!

He's more of a softie than he's brother Augustus, the tough one who fights for cats of all kinds in distress and trouble. Ollie fights for justice for homeless and badly treated cats around the world.

He's a cat of bravery and sweetness. Whenever there's a distressful miaoo - he's there! 

Did I mention that he's incredible handsome as well?

Other than being the superhero cat that he is he enjoys daily life roaming around and playing with his brother Ollie in the backyard belonging to this wonderful lady.

The Woodland Cemetary

Todays inspiration comes from Skogskyrkogården, The woodland Cemetary, part of the Unesco World Heritage. Not many people know this but it's one of the most beautiful places to visit in Stockholm. The architecture and garden design in this enormous area is absolute grand and with all the chapels and graves it gives the most calming feeling. 

Today, I and a dear friend walked around, had a coffee, listened to birds chatting away, marveled at our view and talked of lost friends. Still, hours later I have this feeling of magical wonders.

I wish I could tell you I made these bracelets today while having my inspirational boost but these are already made and shipped to Helsinki, Finland. They will reside in the Paloni store - opening on june 10th!

Poster

I've been holding back on showing you this festival poster I did in april due to various reasons, but now it's here!  

It's for a children's music festival, organized by Dieselverkstaden here in Stockholm this coming june.

 

Think I've found a new source for my creative outlet! Poster art.

Right now I'm in the midst of making 2 more poster projects and I couldn't be more happy. 

Jag har hållit tillbaka på att visa er denna poster till Barnmusikfestivalen jag gjorde i april eftersom Dieselverkstaden inte då hade släppt artisterna osv. Jag tror att jag kan ha funnit ett nytt kreativt utlopp i poster konsten.

Jag håller just nu på med 2 olika poster projekt vilket bidrar till att jag ser ut såhär :-D mest hela tiden.

Club poster

Remember the club poster I mentioned I did a couple of weeks ago? It took place last saturday and was a big hit! (one of the makers, friend and dj's of this club told me) and they will have another night of pure old hip hop later this spring. 

This is rather new to me - style, music and type of media display but I managed good anyway if I do say so myself and the best part of it - it was fun! 

Music inspiration and postcards

When I'm at home drawing I tend to listen to music or have a chat with someone - usually with J or with my cat Sau. Todays inspiration comes from Simon & Garfunkel's "The only living boy in New York" - a demo version of the song. 

The drawing, half done, was just some doodles but inspiration nonetheless.

"Animal Hearts" first became cards after a customer request for having them as wedding invites.

They are now regulars in the shops.

Card Set

After some requests. I now have Sunday Morning Walk no 1 & 2 as a card set in the shop.

Hmmm...something weird is going on with my pictures on the LinkWithin thing, down under this text.

 Has anybody else got this problem? It could be because of all the customizes I've done on this blog though....?
