Vintage and Etsy

These are some of the latest things I've bought on Etsy. I usually get stuck in all the wonderful vintage shops, and let me tell you, there are lots and lots of them!

The red/orange dress and blue dress are from Old Age. This was my first dress I got from oldage. Yellow and 60's cut, gorgeous!

This perfect bag is from Helisengezer. Corduroy fabric in yellow, yay!

This 2011 calendar resides on my kitchen wall at the moment. From Le Papier Studio.

Loving this 70's shirt from Action Vintage

And this I bought today! from Fox and Fawns. Will look amazing when wearing in about 3 or 4 months when the sun shines and the blue anemones grows. Spring please come soon!

Things that made me giggle

As described in the shop: Tip of the Iceberg uncovers the truth about the clitoris. Woah! Must be fantasctic! I haven't actually had the time to read it through but I had a glance and it do look promising. One of my latest buys from Etsy is from Zoo-Mouse-Key.

This little illustrated book Dork Dance is the cutest little thing I found from her shop, I just had to add that to my collection of illustrated zines and stuff.

Random vintage things I adore

I should like to walk in these one day - If I'm able. I can not imagine how much it must have hurt when falling on your face with these platforms! They're almost too much but that's how I like it. From closetcaseVNTG

Those platforms would look smashing good with this cute plaided mini dress and high knee socks. Love love love. From Zwzzy

And I would like to drink my morning tea in one of these lovable mugs. From VintageApartment

Craft fair day post no2

While on the craft fair I had time to look through the other tables before opening to the visitors and I found this pearl amongst everything. It's a t-shirt with an illustration by Robert Crumb! Those of you who follow this blog knows I'm a big comics nerd so I was thrilled when I found this, still are!! Oh happy me!! I'm actually wearing it right now.
It could also be the coffee daze that's talking. Feeling very up!

I had a very sweet visitor at my table this saturday, all the way from Belgium! Veerle Maes and Marie, they both have lovely etsy shops and make incredible handmade jewelry. To visit their shops just click on their names above.

Veerle gave me this amazing ring as a gift, I cannot tell you how gorgeous it is in real life. The tiny crocheting is truly amazing! Don't mind my hand, let's just say I could never be a hand model with dirty nails and dry skin...

I just had to show you this vintage jacket I bought from Throback Vintage on Etsy a couple of weeks ago. I adore this 60's double button jacket, adore!

I think I'll wear both the jacket and the t-shirt tonight at the concert with She & Him, yes.

Craft Fair Day

Craft fair no2 was a success!
I met lovely and warm people the whole day I was there. People who complimented me, old people with a lot of experience and many Etsy friends!
This fair, Basar Under, has become a cute little saturday show with lots of talented people, live music and with more visitors. I'm definitely coming back!

Here is me and my table neighbor Quena, the sweetest table neighbor!
Originally from Buenos Aires and now living in Sweden so I felt a connection right away. Her cute mother who must have been one of the most sweetest warm hearted woman I've met brought us Argentinian Milanesa sandwiches when she visited Quena. They were oh so good!

Quena sold her gorgeous handmade makreme jewelry and she even taught me the basics of macreme! It was really fun and calming. She sells her jewelry on swedish site Signerat and on Etsy, check it out!

Live music with Kim Vestin.

My table with jewelry and illustrations.

Quena making makreme at her table.

As I mentioned before, my mini illustration brooches were among the most popular ones at both fairs.
I listed these two yesterday in my shop latenightdrawing, check them out!

I have more to show and tell about this fair but for now I really must head out in the sun!

Please Spring, Come soon!

I can feel the spring setting in now, oh how I longed for you! The snow is slowly melting and soon I don't have to wear my silly snow boots anymore, hooray!!!
These are a few favorite items that reminds me of a spring soon to come.

Cherry Blossom Glass Plate by Juliesadorabowls. Looks so fragile and beautiful. I would have lemons in this plate to add an even more spring feeling.
